PROJECT LOG- PLANNING
Today in lesson we planned what we were finally going to do
for our film opening, we didn’t change anything we just added some more
information to make the story have more tension. The idea that was added was
that the girl’s father has a very high class job as a surgeon and he unfortunately
failed his surgery on one of his patients, who was a young female. The patient
that died was the daughter of the man who hurt the girl, which is the reason
that he kidnapped her, revenge. I think it’s a very clever idea that in her
flashback the man who has taken her calls her name ‘laura’ at the same time
that her father does, making her wake up from her flashback.

You and your group worked well on this, adding a further layer to the narrative and creating the reason for the attack: revenge. you have intensified the quality of jeopardy through this and your editing will be more interesting because you will be able to cross cut.
